Joel Zimmerman doesn’t like being called a DJ.
The 28 years old dance music phenomenon from Toronto, better known as Deadmau5, rolls his eyes a the description, which he sees as a hopelessly outdated way of describing what he does.
His sets are closer to live performances. He plays mostly his own material, assembling tracks on the fly, using cutting edge computer technology, including software he’s helped write himself. “There are no CDs involved,” he explains.
“It’s a technological orgy up there and I try and keep it more my music than anyone else’s.
If people come out to see Deadmau5 I want them to hear Deadmau5 music.” B-)

Moonbeam feat. Avis Vox - Storm Of Clouds (Kiwi Project Remix)

Moonbeam released more than 50 singles on Black Hole, Be Yourself Music, Traum Schallplatten, Kickin, Proton and many others, which were supported by top dj's like Tiesto, Sasha, Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Judge Jules, Markus Schulz, Matt Darey and Paul Van Dyk.
In 2005 they launched the first Russian digital label called "Moonbeam Digita"l.
The band members work on music videos themselves, from writing a script to the postproduction. Moonbeam have already had highly successful gigs in Australia, Japan, India, Israel, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine and Russia and they also took part in Tiesto's Summer Tour performance in Kiev, where they played in front of 14 thousand people.
Moonbeam were mentioned in articles in Billboard Russia, Rolling Stone Russia, DJ Magazine Russia, In The Mix Australia, Resident Advisor, etc. and in 2009 Moonbeam took 76th position in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs.

Tiësto was born Tijs Michiel Verwest on January 17, 1969.
He is a Dutch musician, dJ and record producer of electronic dance music.
Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. 
On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an alias which is an Italian twist of his childhood nickname.
In 1997 he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink.
He was named "World’s No.1 DJ" 3 consecutive times and he was chosen as the official ambassador for the Dance4Life Foundation in May 2006 to help spread the awareness of HIV/AIDS.
In April 2007 Tiësto launched both his radio show Tiësto's Club Life on Radio 538 in the Netherlands.

OneRepublic is an American pop rock band formed in Colorado.
After a few years of moderate success, they have drawn mainstream attention with the release of their singles "Apologize".
